Alex co-founded Values First Advisors in 2009 and serves as President. As an investment advisor and fiduciary, he helps his clients make wise financial decisions, live a generous life, and leave a meaningful legacy. In addition to this, he oversees the firm’s operations and, along with his partner, the firm’s strategic vision.

He previously served as an investment advisor with American Values Investments where he and his partner first used faith based investing with their clients.

Alex graduated in 1996 from Lexington Baptist College (now merged with Boyce College), where he had a concentration in biblical studies, was regularly on the Dean’s List or Honor Role, and served in student body leadership.

He and his wife, Terri, have been married since 1997 and are blessed with two sons and one daughter. They reside in Ponte Vedra, Florida (a Jacksonville suburb) and are active in their local church. Through the years, Alex has served in leadership with youth ministries, helped launch small group ministries, written discipleship literature, mentored others, been privileged to introduce hundreds of people to Christ, and traveled on domestic and international ministry trips.
